About Kunjan, Spirituality & Meditation

Being Indian, I was, from a very young age, introduced to the deepest spiritual insights that my culture offers. My sister started teaching me hatha yoga at the age of eight.  At the age of nine, I started meditation in a very natural, simple and free manner.  At 23 years, I met my teacher from India who guided my practice for the following 28 years. Now after more than forty years, my practice draws from deep wells of spirituality and has progressed beyond the techniques I started out with such as Transcendental Meditation (TM), Vipassana, Mindfulness and even, Kriya Yoga Meditation.

My mission in teaching meditation is simple. 

“I would like all my students to reach the highest stages of self-realization and in doing so, achieve peace and serenity in all that they do and all that life throws at them.”


About Sangeeta, Therapeutic Hatha Yoga

I have known Sangeeta for over 25 years.  Her knowledge of Hatha Yoga is deep and extensive, rooted as it is in our common Indian heritage.  Her teaching philosophy follows the lineage of Krishnamacharya, one of the pillars of modern Hatha Yoga:

“Teaching yoga from the heart, not as it applies to her, but as it applies to each student.”

Sangeeta has been studying and practicing hatha yoga for over 8 years. She is passionate about bringing improved vitality and well-being through explorative yoga poses, pranayama, chanting, meditation and yoga-nidra, effectively facilitating her students on their personal journey.
